Ole Lund Hansen is Chief of Local Networks at the UN Global Compact, supporting 80+ country or regional networks around the world in promoting corporate sustainability aligned with the values, principles and goals of the United Nations. Ole joined the UN Global Compact in 2009 and has been previous been leading or co-leading the work of the UN Global Compact on the Sustainable Development Goals, Breakthrough Innovation, Board Program, Responsible Investment and Global Compact LEAD
Before joining the United Nations, Ole was an International Business Development consultant based in Denmark, while also acting as the focal point for the Global Compact Nordic Network and the Danish Base of the Pyramid (BOP) Learning Lab. Earlier, Ole has worked as a Senior Advisor on international trade policy, as a Political Risk Advisor and for a NGO in Central America.
